More drug-resistant TB seen in U.S. (AP)

Vivian Tieu left opens a letter from the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security Thursday Aug. 17 2006 in Monrovia Calif. informing Pich Chhieng  her father-in-law that his greencard application interview has been scheduled. Chhieng 61 was infected with the tuberculosis bacteria in his native Cambodia and carried it with him to this country. He took medication for eight months but abruptly stopped because he ran out of money and was feeling much better.
