Mortality Rates From Cancer And Heart Disease Improve UK

Figures released by the Department of Health based on recent data from the Office for National Statistics show that mortality figures for people suffering from cancer and cardiovascular disease (CVD) have improved. The latest mortality figures for people under the age of 75 show that death rates from cancer have reduced by 15.7% and death rates from CVD have reduced by 35.9% since 1996.
