Spinach pulled from stores across U.S. (AP)

Unidentified crops are seen across the street from the Earthbound Farm/Natural Selection Foods plant in San Juan Bautista Calif. on Friday Sept. 15 2006. The California natural foods company was linked Friday to a nationwide E. coli outbreak that has killed one person and sickened nearly 100 others. Supermarkets across the country pulled spinach from shelves and consumers tossed out the leafy green. The crops pictured are not those in question. (AP Photo/Marcio Jose Sanchez)AP - Shoppers changed their buying habits Saturday as spinach was pulled from grocery store shelves because of the outbreak of E. coli bacteria that had killed one person and sickened more than 100 others.
