Patient Advocacy Groups Sometimes Duplicate Efforts; Some Attempting To Coordinate

The Wall Street Journal on Monday examined how some patient advocacy groups "have begun to debate whether the large number of organizations may be hindering as much as helping in their efforts." According to the Journal "Many diseases -- including AIDS autism Parkinson's" and different cancers -- have more than one group that lobbies Congress for funding and provides support for families.
